ReadyNAS 204 Permanent LCD
Is there a way to force the ReadyNAS 204's LCD screen to be on permanently?
I am aware of the possible problems which may occur by doing this.

i'd also like to see an option (like the APC LCD UPS) to keep the LCD text display the current status or a choice of what to display all the time.
My computer is not always on and the NAS is not within arms reach of my computer.
The LCD information was one of the primary reaons i chose a Netgear NAS.
If there's a concern with burn-in, there's easy options to avoid this like with TVs where the pixel is moved every x minutes or scrolling text.

Why do you want to do this?
If e.g. a resync is occurring the LCD will stay on.
A momentary press of the power button will turn the LCD on (and then it will automatically turn off again).- TheRedBull595Aspirant
I would like to do this because my ReadyNAS is stored within a locked server cabinet with a glass door and I'd like to constantly see the server name, IP address and storage space remaining without having to keep opening it.

You could use the RAIDar client app on your PC to get most of this information
