ReadyNas 2120 testing the discs
How do I check the health of teh discs in the NAS? The older ReadyNas 2100 had the ability to check the volumes and fix quotas upon a reboot.

Thank you Jenn. That was got me to where I needed. Are you aware of a defrag option on the ReadyNAS 2100?

If you meant the OS 6 2120: there are 4 maintenance functions - disk test, scrub, btrfs balance, and defrag. All can be scheduled.
If you meant the old OS 4 2100: there is no defrag for that.

Hello reyf,
ReadyNAS 2100 is an OS4 unit, it's been a long time since I last accessed an OS4 and I don't remember seeing that option. bedlam1 it is in the logs and SMART or diskinfo log, this might also help https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/ReadyNAS-516-Disk-Test-Results/td-p/974907
