ReadyNAS 2120 v2 logs forward via email or syslog?
I have a ReadyNAS 2010 and I see that there is logging. Is there anyway for me to forward those logs to another server? I don't see the option in the GUI. Do i need to download a plugin?

There is a rsyslog app, but that duplicates the logging we already do in the journal
We do have email alerts, but those send important messages e.g. some of what is shown in the status log in the web admin interface.

Where do i find the journal? So the syslog app has the ability to send to another server correct? Any special setup I need to do after downloading the app such as opening ports on the firewall?
How do I set up email alerts?

systemd-journal.log in the logs or using SSH (use of this is at your own risk) the journalctl command.
As for configuring email alerts see e.g. http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23066/~/how-do-i-manage-my-email-alert-contacts-on-my-readynas-os-6-storage-system%3F

Can we setup email alerts without internet? It's an intranet without a mail server to make matters harder.
Long story short, I want to forward alerts to another server, http://www.mwagent.com/. What's the best way of doing this as mail is not the best.
I guess these are the options but i really hope I don't have to putty in, follow some random commands and hope I don't crash the system. The documenation doesn't cover much on this topci

Looks like the rsyslog app is removed from the app page. Looks like without internet, I am SoL in log forwarding.

Hi Tripline,
Could you check if LogAnalyzer app will do?
Kind regards,

From your other response, it sounds like it only changes the log path. I was hoping for forwarding and from my forum search it seems like I am not the only one. Think you can talk to your dev crew? :)
