ReadyNAS 214 do_exit+4d8 after firmware update

Nothing was changed on that front, so yes :)
However your note prompted me to switch NICs to see if that made a difference. It did.
The 2nd NIC was DHCP enabled and using that address I was able to go straight into the control panel for the unit and use it as normal.
Switched back to the original NIC, and it seemed to still work OK. Rebooted to check and it failed to come back, despite showing an IP address on the front LCD.
Switched NICs and OK again.
I suspect I have a faulty NIC. Am not using both, so have switched to the other NIC, set the original to DHCP and put the old IP settings on the alternate NIC.
Probably just coincience that the NIC failed at the same time as the update happened...or at least hope it's coincidence. Nervous about the updates for the others now.

If you are the original purchaser, you have a 3 year hardware warranty. If that is in effect, you can RMA the NAS (accessing support through my.netgear.com).
Thanks Stephen. Have just checked back and the units are withing 3yrs old. Will look to raise a ticket.
