ReadyNAS 3138 Disk spindown timer notation Firmware 6.6.1

Can someone please confirm the notation on the Disk spindown timer calendar:

I have assumed the Blue (ON) means that Spin-down is enabled at that selected time (ie the disk will spin down if inactive)

However I am experiencing delays indicative of disk-spin up in the periods I have marked light grey (which I assumed meant disk spin-down is Off - "Day off" on the legend)

Which way around is this supposed to be set?

  • Blue (On) means that spindown is enabled.

If you haven't already, you might check that time setting of the NAS is correct (NTP working, and the time zone set correctly).

You could also try turning off spindown for a day or so, and see if the problem is still there.
