ReadyNAS 314 running slowly after 6.4.0 upgrade
Since upgrading my 314 to 6.4.0 it's been running very slowly taking about 30 seconds to login to the admin page. Sometimes it doesn't even load it. Also AFP/TimeMachine connections are now very in...
Just an update to this. Following advice here and on other posts I've disabled all snapshots and deleted the ones that were already there. The 314 has been stable since (15 hours ish) and is responsive again.
This thread has a useful script you can run over ssh to delete existing snapshots a lot quicker than doing it through the GUI https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/rn104-updated-to-6-4-0-and-possible-solution-to-random-lock-ups/td-p/993214
Hopefully Netgear will release a firmware upgrade quickly so I can turn snapshots back on.
