ReadyNAS 314 unable to connect to host
I'm having a problem getting my RN314 to connect to the PC. In the Source section I fill in the revelant information
When I click on Test Connection
The PC is a Windows 10 desktop with teh files I want to backup on drive D:
The Details are:
Can anyone shine some light on the subject.
Been back and forth with tech support and they have not been able to resolve it.

I see two issues.
One is that the \\ shouldn't be part of the host field. Just use the IP address.
Another is the username. I think you will get better results if you add a local user to the PC that has the appropriate access to the share. Then you won't need the machine/domain name in the username, and you won't be using the email format for the username.
