ReadyNAS 314 unable to connect to host

I'm having a problem getting my RN314 to connect to the PC.  In the Source section I fill in the revelant information

RN314_source.JPG

When I click on Test Connection

error-23052016.JPG

The PC is a Windows 10 desktop with teh files I want to backup on drive D:

The Details are: RN314-details.JPG

Can anyone shine some light on the subject.

Been back and forth with tech support and they have not been able to resolve it.

Thanks

Jon

    I see two issues.

One is that the \\ shouldn't be part of the host field.  Just use the IP address.

Another is the username.  I think you will get better results if you add a local user to the PC that has the appropriate access to the share.  Then you won't need the machine/domain name in the username, and you won't be using the email format for the username.
