ReadyNAS 314 Virus definitions not downloading

I have recently (the last week or so) experienced problems with my ReadyNAS 314 not being able to complete the daily download of virus definitions.

Are others experiencing the same problems?

You need to update the firmware to 6.10.6

  I am puzzled, why the NAS has not automatically prompted me to update the firmware, however...

    Because Netgear always has a delay between when the firmware is stamped as approved and put on the update server.
