Hello davcomp,
Welcome to the community!
I have some questions to ask that I listed below:
1. What is the FW version?
2. Does it have important data?
3. If so, do you have backup of the data?
4. How many disks?
5. What steps did you try to resolve this?
6. Can you boot to read-only from the boot menu?

Thank you for responding
1. 6.5.1
2. Not yet
3. yes
4. 1 4 tb disk
5. Yesterday I updated the FW and reset the system to factory default. I have had this NAS for a while, but haven't been using it.
6. I did not know about boot menu until just now. I'll get back to you on that one.

Hello davcomp,
Did you get this error before factory reset or after? Can you try factory reset from the boot menu instead?
