ReadyNAS 3220 Locking up after upgrading to 6.2
Hello
Ever since we upgraded to 6.2 our RN3220 will lock up sometime over night when our backups are running. Requiring us to power off and on the device every morning.
We were running 6.1.8 before upgrading with no issues. System will not let me rollback to 6.1.8 now.
Running RAIDar is detecting device and displaying version as Support:64764. which maybe related to the issue?
Any help into this issue would be great.
Thanks

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour smart_history.log indicates a failing disk.
I still would recommend you backup your data (if you haven't already), do a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) with good disks in place and restore your data from backup. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredLet's see if the setting change I just made helps.
- kplatteAspirantNAS has locked up past 2 nights now.
Probably due to the bad drive. Getting more errors in log to replace drive now after rebooting. - kplatteAspirantLocked up again last night. Replacement hard drive comes in today.
- kplatteAspirantReplaced drive yesterday. NAS locked up over night before rebuild finished. Rebuild of drive completed after restarting NAS. Want us to try an of the new betas? we arestill on 6.3.3 T137
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou can if you like.
How are your backups going? - kplatteAspirantWe are ready to do a factory reset on our device. We just got everything backed up that we needed off the NAS.
How long do you think it will take? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSeveral hours to sync but you can write to it during this time.
- kplatteAspirantOK will be doing reset today then start are backups again and let you know how it goes.
- kplatteAspirantNAS reset went fine. Restoring all our files back to it now and will restart backups tonight.
It hasn't locked up since we did reset on Wed 3/11. But we haven't run any backup to it yet either.
