ReadyNAS 4 Pin Connector

Hi Community,

We are using a ReadyNAS Pro 6310 (1Gb, Firmware RAIDiator 4.2.31).

On the rear of the ReadyNAS there is an unlabelled 4 pin SIL header connection.

Is the function of this connection documented anywhere ?

  • It is a 5V serial (RS-232 protocol @ 5V) port.  You can find more information about it by Googling alternative OS's for the ReadyNAS.  There is no use for it in standard operations.
