ReadyNAS 4312 running out of space; free space only slightly increased after deleting data

The defrag might have hurt (not helped).  Though the usual scenario where it hurts is with snapshots.

    Really StephenB ? A defrag may make things worse??? That's very counterintuitive...

    I've deleted more data; I'll run the balance again and see if that improves the free space...
