Increase Performance
Can anyone suggest how to increase performance of my C7000v2 (AC1900) with Xfinity?

The technical design of your C7000v2 is very old. If you can, recommend you return it to the vendor and exchange it for a newer design. Recommend a DOCSIS 3.1 type device.
Next time, you need to define what you mean by performance. Data throughput? Wi-Fi range?
