I'm having the same problem as what seems to be reported here. When I first got my NAS it worked well. Then I upgraded to 6.2 and it all went bad with multiple lock ups for (apparently) no reason. From reading the threads, sounds like there's a suspicion that a kernel panic or app oops may be at fault.
How do we reach the Netgear development community or QA folks to let them know of these issues? (L1/L2 tech support seems to think that if the NAS can be rebooted it must be a config problem, but past 90 days won't help out....)
Also, shy of hard rebooting (pulling power) is there a better way to reset and regain access? If not, that's fine too. I see lots of folks refering to telnet/ssh access - how does that work on these boxes?
I guess my frustration is getting the better of me - any idea what direction I need to go to start to figure this out?
