ReadyNas 6.2 (NAS locks up entirely)

depasseg your issue looks like a different one. Your system has a huge amount of metadata. This could be related to your snapshots or simply related to CoW and fragmentation from using NFS with a high thread count.
Looks like you use the NAS as a NFS datastore for VMWare?
