I was satisfied with 6.1.9 on my RN104, very stable OS, RN104 with 4 disk never stopped.
My problems have started with the 6.2.X, all release, frozen at anytime, any activity or not. The more stable was the 6.2.3-T1721 almost 3 days without frozing. After having tried the 1730, again my RN104 became unstable.
When i see the 6.3.3-T142 with the new Kernel was availaible, i updated my RN104 but something must have been wrong with the update and the RN104 has never boot again. I tried everything with the menu: Normal boot, Factory default, OS Reinstall. The result is always the same, the RN104 start then become frozen whit the power light blinking. Memory and Disk Test perform well without errors but the nas don't boot. I can't access my shared, or the admin web interface, or by SSH. When i try to reinstall the OS, I have this mesage: 'Corrupt Root' on Raidar.
I think the upate has corrupt the flash memory where is the copy of the OS and my only hope is to rebuild it with the USB Recovery procedure, reinstall the 1721, latest stable realease in my case. I found the old USB procedure for Spark and X86, but don't find it for ARM.
If i can't reinstall the OS on my RN104, i will have to move to another NAS, reusing my 4 disk.
Thanks for any help.
