ReadyNas 6.2 (NAS locks up entirely)

It seems I have a similar problem as flinders. The RN 104 is stuck in "booting...", after I've tried to update to Beta9.
No Factory Reset or OS-Reinstall. Memory test still works though and passes successfully.
Already swapped out disks with empty ones...
Any hint how to get the USB recovery to work would be highly appreciated ...
