ReadyNas 6.2 (NAS locks up entirely)

I'm not affected by these lockups (and don't work for Netgear). But I have been following it, and it seems to me that it is quite likely that there is more than one issue behind it. That would explain why some releases solve the lockups for some users, but not all.
(speaking as mod) Even if it turns out there is a common root cause, generally we find it works best to have each user create their own thread. If you are trying to help, it makes it much easier to track what each user has already tried, what their particular set up is, and what their outcomes are (and have been). If multiple folks with problems post to the same thread, it always gets very tangled.
