  • I assume this is intended as a question, beginning with "How do I".  You do not state whether you are still runnig OS 4.2.x on your Pro or OS6, though I don't think it matters

The ReadyNAS uses NUT for UPS management.   As best I can tell, though, Netgear has not provided a capability to install an SNMP MIB for NUT.  It can only use those already listed in the UI, which does not include Tripp Lite.  Given the format of /etc/nut/ups.conf (at least in OS6) is non-standard, with references to #dashboard I think they must have made changes to NUT before compiling it.

Corect it was a question, apologies but my experience when searching community knowledge bases is less is more, that being said I appreciate your responding so quickly. Also the RAIDiator version is 4.2.31

Tripp lite offers a software package called "PowerAlert" for both Windows and Linux environments and was hoping someone has already been through the process of attempting to use it and share their knowledge/experience. There has to be a better way to use what I have over acquiring a seperate UPS unit to gracefully shut down the unit in the event of a power disruption.

Thanking in advance for the assistance.

It is highly unlikely you are going to be able to get PowerAlert installed on your NAS given the extremely old version of Debian it's OS is based on.  It may not even work on an OS6 system, since Tripp Lite doesn't list Debian as a suported OS and doesn't include information on using it with a headless configuration.

Is there something driving you to using the network interface instead of USB?
