ReadyNAS and plex server
Hi, I've had a ReadyNAS for a few years now, using 3 hard dives transferring all my cd's and dvd's on top of all my computer backups. I was using DNLA to stream to my TV, but prefer Plex which I us...
The NV+ (v1 - silver chassis - runs RAIDiator 4.1.x or earlier) does not support Plex. The RAID format is different so you can't migrate your disks across. Your disks would need to be wiped.
The ReadyNAS Pro 6 is recommended. See http://www.readynas.com/plex
If you don't need to transcode I'd still recommend any x86 ReadyNAS e.g. Ultra.
