Readynas Drive Caddy
anyone know where i can buy new drive caddies? i want to have a spare so that i can have someone remotely remove and swap a drive if it is DOA. I am concerned that my onsite folks are not very techie and coudl have issues swaping the new drive and old drive from the caddy.

You see the old style ones occasionally on eBay -- typically somebody trying to get a bit back from a broken NAS. Amazon has them, too. The caddies for the older units (except rack mount) will work in a 516, just not vice-versa. If you are worried about fumble fingers, the old ones where the drive is held in with screws might be a better one, anyway, since you are pre-mounting the drive.
