ReadyNAS DUO - Can't remove .recycle folder
I have disabled the recycle bin on my NAS but still have both a .recycle folder in one of my shares, which contains tens of thousands of files. I don't know how many exactly as I've never had the patience for my file explorer to finish scanning. I don't seem to be able to remove files from the folder - they seem to resist being removed.
What is the purpose of this folder and how can I purge / remove it please?
