ReadyNAS duo not visible to Time Machine
Howdy! I am not a well versed IT user (i.e. dumb) and I am having problems to start using Time Machine and ReadyNAS. I was trying to follow the instructions posted in this article: http://www.read...

Hi there. I have the same problem - my ReadyNas Duo does not display in the Time Machine 'Select Disk' list. I have made a direct connection of ReadyNas to my iMAC and hey presto, the ReadyNas shows up for selection. So I'm thinking this is a router configuration issue and hence looking for some guidance from anyone out there please.
Here's my config:-
ReadyNAS Duo (direct ethernet connection to router below)
Radiator 4.1.8 / RAIDar 4.3.3
2 x WD Green 2TB disks (WDC WD20EARS)
iMac (Intel Core i5) running Mac OS X 10.7.2
HUAWEI EchoLife HG532 router
Do I need to setup some form of PORT MAPPING on the router, or perhaps a FIREWALL config on the iMac or router? Wild stabs in the dark.
Appreciate your help people!
Kind regards
