ReadyNAS duo not visible to Time Machine

HI again. Any suggestions out there? Really appreciate any help you can offer up. fyi I am progressing a support ticket with Netgear who are trying numerous NAS setting changes with me. Sadly the ReadyNAS does not appear as a TimeMachine backup disk still. :-(
