ReadyNAS duo not visible to Time Machine

Many thanks for your reply to this thread. I've just had a go with your suggestion. I get an error message "There was a problem connecting to the service "<NAS ip address>". The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again". I've checked the TIMEMACHINE setting on the NAS, which has username ReadyNAS and a password that I've set. TIME MACHINE is enabled (ticked). Any idea whether a SHARE needs to be setup called ReadyNAS in order for the TIMEMACHINE facility to work/be seen by my MAC? Thanks in advance.
