ReadyNas Duo RND2000 v2 does not boot
Hi! I have a problem with my ReadyNAS Duo RND 2000 v2. Yesterday while cleaning I unplugged the NAS because I wanted to sort all of my cables in a nice way, but when I restarted it, it wouldn't boot....

what happens if you enter \\nas-ip-address into windows file explorer's address bar (using the actual NAS IP address)?
Also, if you are using Windows 10, then go into "Turn Windows Features on and off" and see if the SMB 1.0 client is still enabled.

No USB cable was involved, so I am not sure what you were doing.
Normally the NAS will boot with only one disk.
My bad, got confused...
Re-did it and followed your instructions and now RAIDar says that the NAS is healthy and has the right firmware installed.
However, I still can't access the content on the NAS. I can access Fronview, and it's visible under Network/Storage, but when I try to open it I get a error message (basically saying it can't be found).

Great. Then you can just hot-insert the original disk 1 back into the NAS and let it resync.
Microsoft is deprecating SMB 1.0 because it simply isn't a secure protocol - the WannaCry outbreak last year took advantage of some of it's vulnerabilities.
Unfortunately your old NAS doesn't support SMB 3.0. If your PC "turn windows feature on and off" shows an NFS client, you could turn that on, and enable NFS in the NAS. You could also plan on replacing the duo (or making the duo a backup NAS). A new RN212 does support SMB 3.0, and is a lot faster than the duo.
