I have finally got my 2 x 2tb hard drives and am in the process of a full backup to a 500gb hard drive.
Just want to query the first point of the process
"1. Backup all data (put one of the new 2TB drives in an enclosure an backup to this)."
do you mean using the backup options in the readynas and if so, which one - the c to the external option or do you just mean copy all of the files that you can see
I've currently got the c to the 500gb drive backup running (as an extra precaution)
