ReadyNas Duo USB Share - Write-Protected

Just checked and the drive is fine when plugged in and the issue arises when the USB HD goes into power save mode. I can read fine from the disk afterwards and copy form it but I cannot write anything to it until I unmount the drive and then reconnect it.
