ReadyNas DUO v1 - file/folder Permissions (can't delete!)

Did you try this procedure?
Click on the "Advanced Options" Tab on the upper right.
Set the Share Folder Name to nobody, and the Share Folder Group to nogroup.
Set Share folder group rights and everyone rights to read/write
Check the box next to "Set ownership and permission..."
The click on "Apply" at the bottom right.
The box next to "set ownership" will clear, and after a bit there should be a pop-up telling you it is finished.
