ReadyNas DUO v1 - file/folder Permissions (can't delete!)

Current settings are as follows:
he following options are provided to override the default settings for shares and should be used with caution.
Share folder owner: nobody
Share folder group: no group
Share folder owner rights: r/w
Share folder group rights: r/w
Share folder everyone rights: r/w
....and oh look theres the bloody 'set ownership' tick box i've been looking for!
Let see if this works....
NOPE
the user/group are still unknown (to OSX) - Windows 7 sees them as nogroup and nouser still... I dont understand why Finder cant see the user/group....
"The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items."
I can confirm I am logged in via AFP as admin...
Should I run the " Grant rename and delete privileges to non-owner of files." check box?
