ReadyNAS Duo V1 ADD TO
My current unit is at max. drive capacity ie, 2x2TB. Can and how should I add an additional identical unit, to facilitate the dedication of this additional unit to media,and the original to backup of...
My thoughts were to twin the units up, use one unit for system and data backup, the other unit storing the media content. The backup is fullyautomated, so I would assume that I would nominate the additional NAS for the media folders only, leaving the original to cater for the existing. Is that how it would function ? I would format the 750GB HDD's prior to setting up.
