An RNDU2000 is not a Duo, it's an Ultra2, and the volume is not interchangeable with a Duo. If you try, the Duo may wipe them and build a new volume. So it is imperative you check to see what you really have.
A Duo V1 is an RND2xxx-100, where the xxx depends on the drives it shipped with. A Duo V2 is an RND2000-200 (I don't think they ever sold them with drives), and an RNDU2000-100 is an Ultra2. They have differences that are pretty obvious when viewed from the rear. The Duo V1 runs OS4.1.x, the Duo V2 runs 5.x, and the Ultra runs 4.2.x but can be updated to 6.x. The volumes from each of those are not interchangeable with the others and only OS6 will never format drives that already contain another system's data without your express permission..
