You do have a v2. An OS Re-install is an alternative to a factory default that doesn't wipe the disks. You need to do a factory default. It's possible I guess that they accidentally used the translation of "OS Re-install" instead of factory default.
The FW_Download message appears when the ReadyNAS attempts to download a firmware update so it can do a clean install of the latest firmware when doing a factory default. If you have a slow internet connection it can take some time for the firmware image to download. It is over 85MB. If the firmware fails to download it should do a factory default with the firmware currently on the flash.
