ReadyNas Duo v2 - firmware 5.3.5

Hi

Am having a few issues and have been tinkering with some of the options in RAIDiator one of which is in the "Security Settings"

Could somone please tell me what the default setting should be in "Access Type" - Local Users or Active Directory?

ie; upon initial installation.

I don't need to know or understand the difference just what the default was as I may have changed it inadvertently - I was given an alert to the change to Local Users which might imply that it was set to Active Directory upon installation.

Cheers

  • I think the default is Local Users if you are using the nas on a home network that is all you need really.
  • Thanks. Trying to get my ReadyNas to spin-down whilst Plex Media Server is installed and running - have a few things to check and this was one of them :)
