ReadyNas Duo V2 DNLA Subtitle files showing as media
Running the DNLA server through my TV shows Subtitle files (.SRT) as playable media. TV tries to play them but cops out after a minute or two. Is there a way to stop them showing up? TV is LG if...
Difficult to suggest exactly what you should do. I have separate physical shares on my NAS for Movies, Pictures and Music, and therefore multiple drive mappings in Windows, but you should also be able to use a single 'media' share with sub folders for Music, Pictures and Videos.
In the ReadyDLNA config, just add the media share 3 times, and ensure the correct folder (use the browse button and expand the folder structure) is selected together with the correct content type. This way you can keep a single drive mapping to the media share in Windows.
