ReadyNAS Duo V2: Problem with playing media
Hi,
I replaced my ReadyNAS Duo V1 to a new V2:
New Version of ReadyDLNA (1.0.24.3) shows but does not play media files on UPnP-Client (Error: "Format not supported").
The ReadyNAS Support assumes the problem in the client (Philips Streamium SL300i), but it works fine with the older NAS and with Twonky.
I guess, the problem is with missing transcoding functionality built in ReadyDLNA.
Can anyone help, please.
Regards
Jens

- HERBIEOAspirantWhat format are the media files ?
- Mercur12AspirantHi,
@ Herbio: The mediafiles are JPG, MP3, MPEG2, Video_TS (DVD)
Update: I tried to downgrade the Firmware to 5.3.3: !!! Success !!! All the file are playing on my TV now.
The same problem shows up, if I upgrade the firmware in my old ReadyNAS Duo V1 from 4.1.8 to 4.1.9
A bug or lost functionality in Firmware 4.1.9 / 5.3.5 or in ReadyDLNA 1.0.24 ???
Regards
Jens
