ReadyNas Duo
I can't log in to the readyNas Duo server. A message appears in the browser:
The 192.168.1.4 server is using an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Unsupported protocol
The client and server do not support a common SSL protocol version or encryption mechanism.
How to get around this problem

The first step is to try to access https://192.168.1.4/admin using one of
- Internet Explorer
- Edge in IE mode
- An old browser version (FireFox 94.0.2 works)
If you go with FireFox, make sure you immediately configure it to turn off auto update.
Other options depend whether you have the original Duo (4.1.x firmware) or the later v2 Duo (5.3.x firmware). Labels on the NAS can be confusing - a lot of owners of the original Duo (called v1 here) mistakenly think they have a v2. The original says ReadyNAS Duo on the front panel, the v2 says ReadyNAS Duo v2. Ignore other labels, they will lead you to wrong conclusions.
