ReadyNAS netgear rn10400 error -out of memory+36c
Hi. We keep getting an error -out of memory+36c a minute after the NAS boots up when not in read-only mode. Please help.

Which firmware are you running?
If running 6.7.0 or later and if you have quotas enabled on the volume please try an OS Re-install.

Thanks a lot for a swift answer.
I'm running 6.6.1 and no quotas.
We use the NAS as a location for backups via Bacula system and for storing some installation files.
I seem to be unable to update too because it runs in volume read-only mode now and fails with the error immediately if returned to normal boot... :(

Unless you disabled them from the backend quotas would be enabled on the volume. The GUI option to disable quotas on the volume wasn't added till 6.7.0.
You could power down, remove your disks (label order), put a scratch disk in (must not be from your array), update the firmware, verify the update was successful, power down, put your disks back in and do an OS Re-install.

Sadly we don't have any replacement disks :(
Also I wasn't the one who did the initial configuration.
I there any possibility to do it without additional disks?
Will the OS Reinstall delete all the settings?
