Could be a Java issue? I looked at the source for the HTTP URL for the frontview and uses Java. Otherwise I can't imagine why the links will be broken. Except for the fact that the broken links are looking at a share called /images which I can't see on the drive.

It does use server-side java, but that shouldn't create trouble.
If you are very comfortable with linux commands, there might be some things you could look at. There aren't really any other troubleshooting options other remote Netgear support, and the brute-force factory reset / build everything over.
After the data is copied, you could try restarting. But I do stress that you need to get the data off right away. If a restart fails, the risk to your data definitely goes up.
