Readynas NV+ Life Support*

Hi

I am a new user here but have had a readynas for years, sadly this weekend a couple of the drives seem to have failed and I need help because I dont know how to get to my data.

Does anyone know what to do if this happens?

    Is this the NV+ v2 you purchased early last year?

    Please open a support case via the Email tab on the Contact Us page on support.netgear.com and let me know your case number.

    It is likely that a data recovery contract would be needed for a case such as this.
  • That is correct it is the NV+ V2 I bought last year, I have raised a ticket but any advice/help would be greatly appreciated in the mean time
  • looking at the dashboard it actually says that the volume is still redundant some how but on the info tab it shows that two drives out of the four are spare inactive

    Given the symptoms, you should wait for support before trying anything.
  • Support have had an initial look and said their is nothing wrong with the drives but does need further investigation. They will get back to me in the next couple of days, hope its just the Nas and the data is ok.
