ReadyNAS NV+ (RND4410 v3) Doesn't turn on - dead Power Supply?

Hi - My ReadyNAS NV+ all of a sudden has no power going to it.  I have tried unplugging and replugging, turning off/on, etc., but the unit has no signs of life.  

 

I suspect that the Power Supply has failed, but wanted to see if there is anything else I should be checking before trying to figure out where to buy a PS and replacing it.

    Hi torontopaul2,

     

    Welcome to the Community!

     

    Have you tried using a different power cable? 

     

    Is the chassis still not powering on even if there are no disks inside it? (Note: Please label the drives with its corresponding bay before you remove them.)

     

    If it is still the same after doing all these, it is very likely that the power supply of the NAS has failed already.

      Hi - thanks for the suggestions.  I have swapped the power cable, still no power.  I have removed all drives and still no power.

       

      I thought I had read somewhere about a CMOS issue which can cause this symptom, perhaps I was mistaken.

       

      Also, I also thought that I had read somewhere about a range of serial numbers on this devce where there was a PSU replacement program regardless of warranty.  I cannot find the source document (with the range of serial numbers) to know if my unit is in this group or not.

       

      If you can help with the above two items it would really be appreciated so that I can one way or another get my unit back up and operational.
