I am having the same problem. Router has DHCP. Readynas NV+ has a fixed IP. I also have a Duo. If the NV+ is off, the network is fine. If it is on, I quickly lose the network. The NV+ also freezes and I have to power it off. Shutdown will not work. Copying to or from the NV+ is painful to say the least.
I have tried everything I can find on the forums. Fixed speed, latest firmware, I even upgraded my switch to a Netgear switch that supported jumbo frames and upgraded all cables to CAT6. Tried it with and without jumbo frames. All to no avail.
I am now back to using my Duo and occasionally trying to back it up to the NV+.
I bought the NV+ becuase I wanted the extra storage. I use recommended drives as well.
I am very disappointed as I like the Duo, just needed more space.
