Readynas NV+ Slows down network when turned on/ plugged in
I have a readynas nv+ updated to 4.1.7 firmware. When I plug in or turn on the readynas, all my other computers on the network can't access the internet (it slows it down unbearably slowly). Within ...
still running 4.1.8 and bought an apple extreme gigabit switch recently (black friday specials)
installed it finally over the weekend. did a copy to the NAS, initially peaking at 10MB/s (not 10Mb/s), and then woefully dropped to below 1MB/s ....
and this is going from my mac pro (Gb connection) on the same switch to the NV+ NAS (Gb connection)
not sure if something is a miss with 4.1.8 in a mac environment and i can't go back to 4.1.7 as I run Lion and use the NAS as a Time Machine backup.
