Generally I don't want to use a disk in a RAID array if it has more than 50 reallocated+pending sectors. There are other views on that's mine.
The array is most vulnerable when re-syncing. So it would be good to make a backup of your data before you replace the disk.
WDC Red and Seagate Ironwolf drives are good options for the replacement. They both run cool, and are intended for NAS.

The data is accessible--no indication of another failed disk. The logs show problems w/ the failed disk starting in Feb 2017. I never looked at the logs before now. Guess I should start doing so.
