Can you provide a screenshot? - psonAspirantWell yesterday I setup a FTP , but it doesn't matter how I do, hangs up all the time.
Today I reset my NAS to factory settings, so it was completely clean , after I tried to transfer a large file trough FTP ( from my win2008 server) , after some minutes it hangs up .
In this writing moment I am trying to manually update to 5.3.12-T3
Do you want the log files ? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYes please. Send me the logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig).
- psonAspirantOk, done....
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredCan you run the memory test boot menu option for at least a few passes?
- psonAspirantHmm...
I was trying to follow this guide, but nothing happens.... just boot up as normal :?To perform other options such as Skip Volume Check, Tech Support Mode, and Memory Test, this is managed via the Power button.
With the system off, hold down the Power button, and wait for the desired LED flashes.
Release the Power button when the option you desire is active.
Systems with an LCD (NV+) will also display the boot menu item text on the LCD at each stage.
Button to Hold Time to Hold LED flashes Boot Menu Mode
Power 5 seconds 1 Skip Volume Check
Power 10 seconds 2 TFTP Boot
Power 15 seconds 3 Tech Support Mode
Power 20 seconds 4 USB Boot
Power 25 seconds 5 Memory Test
Reset 5 seconds 1 OS Re-install
Reset 30 seconds 2 Factory Default - psonAspirantNow the test is started.... I tried the "reset" instead of "power" , then the memory test started
But it will take some time I believe...... - psonAspirantMemory test = Success
- psonAspirantAny suggestion how to go forward ?
/ Thank you. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDo you recall the times at which this happened?
Was one at about 9:26pm on April 24th?
