ReadyNAS NV+ v2 iTunes media server??

The iTunes (Firefly) streaming server is planned to be added to a future firmware release. However this does not support streaming to the AppleTV.
For streaming to the AppleTV you are best to jailbreak the Apple TV and install Plex on it.
The ReadyNAS Ultra/Pro supports running Plex Media Server (see http://www.readynas.com/plex). If you need to transcode (convert video on the fly to stream) you'll need a high end ReadyNAS. If you don't need to transcode then the Ultra 2 would be fine.
A good watch to check whether you need to transcode is to setup Plex Media Server on your Mac. If streaming involves heavy CPU usage then it is transcoding video.
