ReadyNAS OS 6.5.2 - missing logout button

Hello,

at the moment I am in the process of ugrading my RN10400 unit to current version (6.5.2), coming from 6.2.2.

Ref.: see this thread.

I upgraded: 6.2.2 -> 6.2.5 -> 6.5.1 -> 6.5.2. Then I factory reset the unit.

After logging in to the admin page I noticed the logout button in the upper right corner turned into the shutdown/restart button which is located under 'system->overview->device'.

Since I did the mentioned upgrades right one after another I can't say in which version the change happened.

So right now I got 2x restart button but no more logout button... I guess it's a bug?

See also two screenshots, first OS 6.2.2, second OS 6.5.2:

  • The logout button told you you'd need to close your web browser, I believe so it was pretty pointless.

      is there nowhere to vote for the feature to be put back in.. surely this is a security risk as it leaves you logged in...

        You can post on the Idea Exchange for ReadyNAS

        As I mentioned above the logout button told you that you needed to close your web browser to logout so it was pretty pointless.
