ReadyNAS Pro - file/folder access permissions

i spent a ton (well for me anyways) of money on a new ultra 4 NAS mostly after reading reviews. i run the home edition of windows 7 x64. since the day i got the NAS i get a error message when trying to access any music files: you do not have permission to access". strangely, this only happens with music files - i can access/change any other kind of file. i have spent literally days with level 2 support and no working solution was found. i was told "this is a windows problem". well, no - windows works fine. it is a problem with readynas integrating with windows 7. as i bought this specifically to be a music server, my only option now is dumping the stupid thing on ebay and recouping whatever i can and getting a QNAP. i am not very happy about this.
