Yes boots and ReadyNAS gets stuck at 99% but once the initial load finishes output to the monitor clears. I was hoping it would have a Linux login or something but no luck. I've reinstalling OS via boot menu a few times but same symptoms.

You could try tech support mode. If that boots normally you could try manually mounting the volume.
